Are Out-of-State Handicapped-Parking Placards Legal in Las Vegas?

Updated August 7, 2023

Yes.

In Nevada, if a vehicle bears a handicapped license plate or parking permit with the official and internationally recognized handicapped emblem -- the International Symbol of Access (ISA), also known as the (International) Wheelchair Symbol, consisting of a blue square overlaid in white with a stylized image of a wheelchair -- that's been issued by another jurisdiction, and the driver or a passenger in the vehicle is eligible for the permit, then that car can be parked in a designated handicapped space.
