What Is the Public-Transportation Situation in Las Vegas?

Updated August 5, 2023

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) transit fleet consists of 38 routes all over the valley, from North Las Vegas to Henderson.

The Deuce, gold-colored double-decker buses, operate the route from downtown to well beyond the south end of the Strip, serving the Welcome sign, Town Square, and Las Vegas Premium Outlets South; they run 24 hours a day.

Not sure what route you’re looking for? The RTC offers a one-stop online resource ridethestrip.com which features info on current transit fares, routes, and more.

Fares on the RTC buses are: single trip $4, two-hour $6, 24-hour $8, three-day $20, 30-day $65. Reduced fares for seniors (60-plus), youths (6-17), veterans, and disabled are half-price (require a special photo ID).
