Which Hotel-Casinos Are Connected by Automated Trams?

Updated August 5, 2023

These driverless elevated tram systems are all a free and easy way to get up and down the west side of the Las Vegas Strip.

Aria/Park MGM, Crystals, Bellagio: This is a three-stop route. The south station is located between Aria and Park MGM; it's also the way to get to T-Mobile Arena. From that station, it's about a three-minte trip north to Crystals, the shopping mall at the heart of City Center. From Crystals, it's about a four-minute trip Bellagio, where the tram station is at the south end of the property past the convention center. The trams run every 10 or so minutes.

Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay: This tram runs between Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay. From Excalibur station, it's an express tram direct to MBay; it doesn't stop at Luxor southbound and takes four minutes or so. From Mandalay Bay, you stop at Luxor and Excalibur, a seven- to eight-minute trip. Trams leave every three to seven minutes. All waiting areas are indoors except Luxor's and some walking is required to make the loop (there are stairs as well as an elevator to access the tram stops). Signs in all the casinos help you find the tram stations.

Mirage, Treasure Island: A tram runs every 10-15 minutes. It's a short ride between the two competing hotels; signs direct you to the stations.

Combining the Three Trams: You can cover more than half the Strip on these three trams for free. Start at Mandalay Bay, exit at Excalibur. Take the pedestrian overpass across Tropicana, walk past New York-New York, and catch the next tram at Park MGM. Ride that to Bellagio, then walk across Flamingo Road, walk past Caesars, and catch the tram from the Mirage to Treasure Island. There is, however, a considerable amount of walking: between Excalibur and Park MGM, plsu Bellagio and Mirage. This is all on the west side of the Strip. You can also ride the Monorail on the east side.

    Monte Carlo no more
Just as an FYI, the Monte Carlo is now Park MGM.
