Language/Images
Be respectful when posting. Excessive vulgarity, personal attacks, and threatening language are not allowed. Arguments and disagreements will occur, but please refrain from being overly aggressive or abusive. Posts that violate these rules will be removed and ongoing offenders risk being banned. Other possible reasons for removing posts include sexually explicit comments or graphics and otherwise inappropriate images, hate speech and prejudiced remarks, and advocating participation in illegal activities. We reserve the right to remove any content (links, text, or images) we deem inappropriate.
Private Information
Divulging private information about others without permission is not allowed.
Relevance
Keep posts relevant to the subject specified in each thread. Comments that are obviously off-topic may be removed.
Attribution
If you wish to quote long passages from other sources, link to them when possible (see “Non-Commercial” below) and at the minimum, attribute.
Non-Commercial
It’s OK to promote services and businesses among the group, but excessive promotion is not allowed. Where necessary, this will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Warnings/Recourse
In most cases, offenders will be issued warnings; the recipient of a warning will be allowed to continue posting while further conduct is evaluated. That said, we reserve the right to ban a user without warning. If any user violates any of the above guidelines, we reserve the right to ban the individual from further participation.
