No Red Sox game should be lined at 8.5 unless it’s Beckett/Weaver or Lester/King Felix. Here we’ve got two offenses capable of lighting it up, and two pitchers that couldn’t be more unpredictable. Liriano has never had any success against the Sox. By my numbers, Sox should have 13 baserunners in Liriano's 7 innings. I like Bedard more than most, but this isn’t a great spot for him. And Tim McClelland is a great over umpire. I love this play.
