the Marlins are 9-0 with Josh Johnson when he is off a quality start in which they lost, winning by an average final score of 4.7 to 1.8 runs. Prof M.
Interesting term...quality start. Does the SDQL define this term? Thanks Prof
Not sure if the SDQL definition is the same but my understanding is it is when a pitcher goes 6 innings and gives up 3 earned runs or less.
quality start
Not sure if the SDQL definition is the same but my understanding is it is when a pitcher goes 6 innings and gives up 3 earned runs or less.
This is correct. If I'm not mistaken, this term (quality start) was coined and defined by ESPN. Prof M.

09.05.10 The Rangers are 18-0 with C. J. Wilson when he did not allow a home run in his last start. The SDQL is: starter= C.J. Wilson and s:SHRA=0 and date>=20100420 BY changing the = to a > in the SHRA term (starter's home runs allowed), you can see how the Rangers have done with Wilson when he allowed at least one home run in his last start.
