966 St. Louis Cardinals -250 listing pitchers Wainright and Maine I usually don't lay this type of chalk but after this 20 inning marathon both bullpens are chewed up and Wainright should go deep into the game. Eddings is behind the plate as well. Wainright is hard enough to hit let alone having an umpire with a large strike zone calling the balls and strikes. I know many out there believe the old wives tale that you shouldn't lay large chalk, but if you sit in front of a screen all day like I do you know chalk gets steamed daily and it wouldn't surprise me to see this game get hit. Good luck. Eddie

905 St. Louis Cardinals -127 listing pitchers Penny and Lopez You can get this game -122 right now at Matchbook. There is over $7000 available so laying the extra 7 or 8 cents is just ridiculous if you don't have to. Dave Duncan seems to have worked his magic on Brad Penny. Penny has pitched 14 innings and has an era of 0.64 and a whip of 0.79. After watching the game last night some of the Cardinal players are starting to get good wood on the ball and if Pujols had any quality at bats last night, which he should tonight, the game would have been a blow out. With Wainright going a complete 9 innings last night the Cardinals bullpen is completely rested for today. Good luck. Eddie
903 Chicago Cubs first 5 innings -125 listing pitchers Wells and Niese When I do play the Cubs I like to play them on the first 5 innings line that way we can avoid their bullpen. Good luck. Eddie
Cardinals still worry me a bit. Holiday is not quite over his flu, team is still tired from 20 inning affair Saturday and a night game last night followed by a flight...Agree with what you said about Penny. But I think under 9.5 or 10 may be the play. BlueCards
