Astros/Blue Jays Saturday I put a bet on the Astros +1.5-122 for the early game on Saturday against the Blue Jays. The Blue Jays are made a favourite here of -204 which IMO just seems extreme. The starting pitching matchup is Myers vs. Morrow. Myers hasn't pitched well this year coming off the terrific season he had last year but I think he's a little better than this number on Houston would indicate.
Morrow can have eclectic stuff but I have never bet a favourite in baseball so I'm not the one to ask but I don't think I could lay over -150 in this game which means you can probably lay -165 but -200 just seems ridiculous. The Jays are a .500 team overall in a tough division but I don't think Houston is a really really bad team.
I had the Astros tonight and I'll have them again on Sunday so this isn't a big deal the Astros will probably be cheap until they win a few more games which I'm hoping they do. I won't argue they're bad but maybe they're not as bad as the record and these lines indicate.
