Bad Beat of the Night

Bad Beat of the Night Brewers/Dodgers UN 9.5 3-1 Top 9th 2 Outs, Broxton blows the save, 3-3 to Bot 9th. LaTroy Hawkins loads the bases and Ethier hits a walk-off Grand Slam. Unreal.
Wow--that was really a bad beat
Broxton might be the best closer in the NL, but he blew this one (2 outs before the 2 runs got in) and that cost it. It was 3-2 and Craig Counsell reached on an infield single to score Fielder. Hawkins gave up base hits to Carroll and Paul and walked Kemp to load the bases, then Ethier bombed one. 4 runs total with 2 outs in the Top of 9th.
Being a Brewer fan I watched the whole game. Fielder had an error in the 2nd (where he just didn't catch a ball thrown from 3rd with 2 outs) that allowed 2 unearned runs to score. And I thought one of the biggest things that allowed this to get over was that after Mil tied it in the top of the 9th the first LA hitter led off the bottom of the 9th with a hit. With the lead off or # 9 hitter up LaRusso elects not to bunt him to 2nd. If he decides to move the runner into scoring position, they most likely never get in the position for Either to hit the walk-off granny

Some would call the Hawks +10 a bad beat, but I do believe this one was worse.
RealWorldSports doesn't think it was a bad beat. It was a good win. :)
last night, for me, was the classic example of giveth ( magic ) and taketh away (lad - under )......... thank goodness for the magic and over in the 2nd half.
