Baseball Starting Lineups Question

Baseball Starting Lineups Question Now that baseball season is going to be the only major sport going on I have a question for you guys. I like to look at the starting lineups before I place a wager in baseball just so I know if a star is getting a day off or whatnot. Currently, I use espn.com and they have the lineups posted around 30 minutes before a game starts. I was wondering if any of you guys know of a website that posts the lineups earlier. Thanks
To the best of my knowledge all major services (espn.com, foxsports, yahoo, cbsports, etc.) use the same provider of starting lineups as MLB.com. MLB.com usually has lineups posted a few minutes before the others but that is not a steadfast rule. Their window is around an hour before game time but sometimes closer to a half hour. You can also peruse the local newspapers for each team a couple of hours before game time. The Boston Globe is very good for this and only some of the others. Some local cable stations, like YES for the Yankees, also post earlier than MLB.com. This is a lot of work. I try to do it on the days when series end with a focus on a team that has the next day off. That is usually Wednesdays and Sundays, but waiting in front of a computer for lineups is often impossible on Sundays for family reasons. Also, scoresandodds.com is reliable for the obvious ones. I hope that info helps a little. RUDY
thanks for the info!
