Cardinals haven't swept this season

Cardinals haven't swept this season The Cardinals are going for a three game sweep today as a big favorite over the Pirates. St Louis, however, has been soft in this spot, as they are 0-8 this season when trying to sweep a three game series. The SDQL text is: team=Cardinals and 2010=season and SG=SGS=3 and p:W and pp:W SG is the game of the series and SGS is the total number of games in the series. You can see that the Cardinals were a favorite in seven of the eight and were a 200+ favorite in two of the eight. In addition, St Louis is 0-3 (-3.7 rpg) their last three as a 200+ favorite off a five-plus run win. I'm not recommending a play either way here, but just want to make those considering a play on the Cardinals aware of these results so they can include them in their decision-making process. Prof.
However the cardinals do have sweeps of the Braves of 4 games April 26-29 the Nationals 2 games May 17 & 18.....Swept the Dodgers 4 games July 15-18
So is it 3-5 then when Cards try to sweep or 0-8? Interesting. At -330 today, obv that is a pass.

Looks like 0-8 in three game series but they have swept one two-game and two-four game, correct??
Looks like 0-8 in three game series but they have swept one two-game and two-four game, correct??
That is correct. I like Pittsburgh because I like big dogs. The inability to sweep three-game series doesn't mean much to me. St. Louis should win, but as has been said, -330 is too high. I wonder whether big chalk has a lower ROI on weekends when more tourists play the games.
Weekend Big Chalk To investigate how "big chalk" does vs day of the week, use, for example, this SDQL: line
