Record of the Query of the Day?
Does anyone have a record on how these "queries of the day" have done since PM started posting them? Not his plays. but the Q of the day. Thanks for any help.
This is easy to check. Just run the queries using the MLB Query Text box on the lvasports.com home page.
I took the liberty of doing so and got 3-2:
8/23 - The Giants are 8-0 since June 09, 2009 after being shutout and it is the first game of a series. -- Win
8/24 - The Yankees are a perfect 9-0 this season on the road when seeking immediate revenge for a loss in which they held the lead -- with four of the nine wins coming as an underdog. Win
and it's active against tonight (8/28)
8/25 - The Rangers are 16-0 with C. J. Wilson when he did not allow a home run in his last start. -- Win
8/26 -- The Phillies are 10-0 since September 2007 with Kyle Kendrick when they lost as a home favorite in his last start. -- Loss
8/27 -- The Diamondbacks are 0-10 since September 14th, 2007 as a dog during the regular season when they are off a win in which they never trailed and their starter lasted more than six innings and did not allow a home run. -- Loss
Note that these queries can be run anytime and any new games will automatically appear. If the trend is active for the action that night, that unplayed game will appear at the bottom of the game listing.
One advantage of doing the queries over the internet rather than on your computer is that the data are automatically updated every night.
