Day 7 coming up and the only bet from Day 5 was a winner with the White Sox and Quintana or whoever he was. Now looking back at yesterday there wasn't any movement for Santana so it was a negative scalp I'm sure. But it is a winner. It is a bet because SD was flagged as a weak hitting team vs. LHP. Minor actually got the line move and it probably was a scalp but he's pretty close to AAA from what I've read so surprised they bet him so strongly and the Braves go down. The money went against Buehrle although he was flagged as a good play with the Giants one of the weak teams vs. LHP. Bumgarner went for the Giants so he's also a lefty and having a good season but the Marlins do get the cash. And a a real dent in the new test was WY Chen as the money went against him vs. the Royals. It was a close game and by the score he looked like he did all right but it was a loser. A negative scalp and a loser. Perhaps Paulino a few really good starts vs. the Yankees got the attention of the sharp bettors more than the LHP angle. But I won't know that or when to expect it. But 3 out of 5 winners there heading to our final day. Moyer is LHP vs. Latos but this doesn't qualify as the Reds seem to hit well enough vs. LHP that I don't think they count for this although they were the team that got me looking at this issue when the Yankees got steamed with CC and Pettitte against the Reds. I do think there is some power outage for them against LHP but I will leave it. Let's see if Moyer gets steamed. I somehow doubt it. I think the betting is actually against Moyer so far. I would play Bedard vs. the Cubs. Heck, that is one thing we've learned this week. The Cubs don't hit LHP. They really don't hit anyone but it is really bad vs. LHP. The Cubs opened the favorite with Garza but now Bedard is -120. A nice scalp playing this on the open. It might be one I might look at Garza tomorrow but I do understand why this move needed to be made in the market. Happ against Capuano is LHP vs. LHP. The Dodgers are pretty good vs. LHP but without Kemp I think they qualify as a team with some gap between their offense against RHP compared to LHP. Kemp is a real murderer vs. LHP and we noted a few Dodgers game steamed against them and here is another one. I would have played Happ and it hasn't moved a lot but it has moved a full dime. I would expect a scalp on this one. I will say that although the Astros didn't qualify as a poor hitting team vs. LHP compared to RHP in my listing they do hit LHP pretty poorly. Their betting average is very low even compared to their BA vs. RHP. I guess the OPS wasn't as bad. This one may not be that great. Wolf is lefty against Hudson and that is a pass. Gio against the Braves is also a pass. The O's line up another LHP against the Royals this time Matusz. This qualifies so I would go on Matusz. The first move is on Baltimore here opened -124 and is now -130. Milone vs. the Yankees is a pass. CJ against the Mariners is also a pass.
