This discussion is OK, but I'd like to nip the personal part of it right away. Rudy was invited by me to mention his service for the reasons I stated. Among them, he's been a good contributor here. I've seen enough of his work over the past two years to be very comfortable with this. If you're interested in paying for his services, pursue it with him. If not, then leave it alone. I'm not gonna invite someone to post then let others jump on him. That's the MO of Malmuth at 2+2, as I personally found out.
There isn't anything "personal" about stating a handicapper's monitored record by a third party. No one is calling him names here. He might be the nicest guy in the world, but facts are facts.
Rudy lost about 80 units in BB/FB then another 170 units in MLB in 2010 (finishing dead last of over 100 MLB services at ProSportsMonitor, see link in The Dude's post for details). He also lost significantly on another forum he was posting at before getting banned the season before.
Now all of the sudden he is self-monitored? GMAFB. The guy caught a flyer his first 3 weeks here, and has been negative ever since. This will not end well.
I can understand Anthony wanting to support the limited amount of regular MLB contributors here, but it is very naive and irresponsible of him to endorse a paid handicapper when there is an abundance of evidence showing that Rudy has no long term edge and should not be charging for picks.
