Not sure that you need to post anything. If Rudy puts up selections, this will play out on it's own. Whatever record he has here will be accurate, as a number of people are betting this stuff - me included.
Rudy... We understand monitors have issues, and they likely will never be 100% accurate, but it is hard to imagine that the -171 unit tally would be off by enough to make it anything but an awful season. Why is it so hard to acknowledge that? Could you tell us what your accurate record was for last season? Or even this season? This "records are wrong, but I won't explain unless you e-mail me" position doesn't hold water. My guess is you just make up something in private e-mails where people in "the know" can't discredit you. Why not post it right here in the forum for all to see? As for self-monitoring, I think it is fine as long as there is transparency. Preferably some display of the plays after game start, but at the minimum a daily recap and tally of all plays. I haven't seen either from you.
Doc, I really do not understand your obsession with me and I look forward to the day that you and others curtail this scutiny. That said: - the -171 was not my record for released picks but I cannot give reason on this or any public forum. I am in touch with Anthony who will receive an email from me later today or tomorrow which addresses this, amongst other information that is not for the public to see/read. - as for last year's record, that too will be addressed in my email to Anthony - as for this season, simply click on the link I provided in this thread. It is updated every Friday and Monday. This has been proven to be acceptable to my subscribers, the folks that pay me, none of whom have any issues with this method. If I lose potential customers because the public does not see my record, quite frankly, I do not care. I know this is a radical position but I am okay picking up business through referrals and via mass email marketing. It is working so far this year. - as for transparency, and not to be redundant, not one of my subscribers, including some LVA members, have complained or have issues with the twice a week spreadsheets. - I know you and others have issues with this method of record keeping but it is new for you and perhaps tough to accept. Again, if you have a problem with this method, move on. Please stop distracting me. Besides, again, you can always click that link. PM me if you have difficulty with the link, you should not. - Lastly, please stop predicting my demise. It is getting comical that you choose to root against me and look forward to the day in which I fall on my sword. My intentions are good in addressing your queries. If my responses come across as snide, my apologies, that is not my intention. Rudy

These explanations make zero sense to me. There is not a single good reason why a paid handicapper would submit a ton of "non-released" plays to a monitor or why any topic pertaining to records of a paid handicapper could not be addressed publicly. It reeks of having something to hide. You shouldn't want to or be able to "freeroll everyone" and just "hit the reset button" after an awful year. Herein lies the problem with non-transparent self monitoring. I am done being the "bad guy" here. If BigRobbie and others are still putting money on these plays even after reading my posts, then clearly my efforts are a waste of time. Best wishes to Rudy and followers.
I tried taking the high road, a road that some will never find. Rudy

Doc, I'm not saying you're the bad guy. Let's give things a chance to play out, that's all I'm saying. If we criticise every regular poster here, soon there won't be anyone left. Baseball is a pretty dry season (not much activity in a gambling sense), so I'd hate to see that happen.

I only took exception when the owner of this forum and others were endorsing Rudy's pay service for consideration. For obvious reasons, I felt this was very inappropriate.
I'm okay with anyone saying that they use a service and think they're good, but I don't think there should be any endorsements. Fez recently said he won't endorse anyone going forward. At this point, I'm going to bow out of this debate. Good luck to all.
As an impartial reader of this forum, I am interested in hearing Rudy's response to a loss of 171 units. I understand if it was a bad year. But saying that the monitor is wrong without an explanation is pretty evasive. How wrong were they? Were they off 1 unit or 100 units? Why were they off? Why would you explain this to Anthony and not the rest of us? Rudy, I support you. I hope you win 500 units this year. But if you're pushing your service, I think we all deserve full disclosure.

Please go back to the site that has that number, take a look at the last 50 plays or so, factor in my betting style and then you will start to understand my predicament. Furthermore, you should not make a statement like you "understand it was a bad year" when, in fact, you do not have all the facts as, yes, I have been evasive. Please respect my need to keep certain matters private and not disclosed in a public forum. I will work out the open items with Anthony and then we can move forward. Best, Rudy
I said "I understand 'if' it was a bad year". The word "if" is key. Remember, Rudy, I'm on your side. Good luck.
