NL West--Short Preview--RSW Bets---Feedback I thought I would start a thread for this division. I will try to start others but always hard to work, post and bet. Here are 2 RSW bets I made from this division: SF Giants Under 88.5-115. This was a good number so far. Pinnacle Under 87.5-123. It is a good number but I felt the bet was good. Giants won 86 LY 92 and 88 before that. They've been in this area and were WS champions one of them. This team just hasn't improved. Personally, I will go out and say even Tim and Cain have had their moments where they're on it during the regular season. Vogelsong will he be good again? Zito #5. Heck, maybe he won't be that bad. The bullpen is outstanding I guess. The offense is always disappointing but Cabrera has been good so far in the spring and had a good year last year. Posey is back of course. My number is good and certainly I like the Giants over 85 games but I do think the 89th game is tough FWIW. One backdrop is do they sign Cain or trade him? I bet Colorado Over 79.5-110 but this was a fantastic number. Line is Over 81.5-112. I have to like the bet bet but don't love it. The Rockies have SP issues I think. Chacin hasn't been great. Pomeranz is being counted on. Nicasio had the neck injury last year. Got some big bats with the Cargo and Tulo added Cuddyer. Rosario is a star catcher they'll call up soon but maybe he won't start. De La Rosa back in the summer sometime as a starter. No other bets so far but Arizona I saw around 86 and I do think they are better than the Giants. Seem like they could be a powerhouse really but none of their starters has any long range success. But one has to like Kennedy and Hudson. The bullpen was solid. And the hitting quite honestly looks outstanding. Montero is a very good catcher. Drew is injured so that is question mark but if he comes back healthy a big plus. Added Aaron Hill. He's been inconsistent for a few seasons had a good month with them but his performance is variable. Added Kubel. He can hit. Young is improving but always struck out too much but his pop has been consistent. My feeling is they were for real and will win this division again but let's see what other comments there are. Regarding the Dodgers there really could be issues there. There seems to be promise as well. Loney hit well late last year. So with him Kemp and Ethier they have some hitters. Gordon had a good September and the bullpen seems pretty good actually. Kershaw but then 4 other starters that are pretty mediocre. They are under 81-114. San Diego was around 73 I think last I looked and they seemed to be priced correctly. They added Quentin from the CWS and should have some more pop. The starting pitchers at least are youthful Richard, Luebke I guess and they were good. Stauffer hard to read. I've seen him pitch well----against the Giants that is. Other times I've been underwhelmed.
