One play today

One play today 953 Giants +111 Bumgarner/Hernandez I'm on the Giants today. Bumgarner is the real deal. I've seen every pitch he's thrown in the bigs. The entire team is behind him. If he stays away from injuries this 20 year old kid will be in the rotation for years. He lost velocity in the spring but found a mechanical problem in the minors and everything dropped into place. Posey and Huff are carrying the Gigantes at the moment. Posey is batting .514 this month with 13 rbi's. Also, 6 dingers the last 10 days. Huff's July numbers are .343, 12 ribbies and 5 big fly's. Huff, Sandoval and Rowand all have big numbers against Hernandez. I like taking this team at plus money. Good luck to all.
I saw him pitch last year in San Jose. His rise, like Posey's and Runzler's, is remarkable. He will have his hiccups like any rookie, but I don't see them happening against a team such as Washington's. Line should be pk. Good value here.
Joel, Thanks for posting. Looks good as of now. up by 5 in the bottom of the 6th.
Tim- Just got back from playing "honeydew"...I loved this play too and it is obviously more solid than mine was. Joel - I believe the Jints will have a lot of fight left in them in the second half! Posey is hitting like a freak (the Giants favorite word to describe players) and suddenly the world is forgetting about the Panda who is still one heck of a player. Posey takes a lot of pressure off Panda and Uribe, as do Huff and Burrell. Also, those young pitchers will take a lot of must needed pressure of Timmy, Barry and Matt, and will keep Sanchez in check as he fights to stay in the rotation. JMHO Enjoy the break, Tim, Joel and all! RUDY

Giants I am a Buster Posey fan.....he can hit good....but if you look at the Giant 3rd baseman Pablo Sandoval ...he looks a little over weight ....could be why he is struggling.....if he starts hitting the Giants will take the division IMO.
He is quietly down to .264. It seemed he elevated his game when he knew there was no one else in the lineup that could contribute. Now he has Huff and Burrell. Of course, I'd like to see his BABIP and other such stats before reaching any conclusion, but at quick glance, it sure seems as if he does not try as hard when he doesn't have to.
