Prof Meyer's 8/16 MLB Play w/SDQL BALTIMORE -130 over Seattle – In Bergesen’s last three starts he went 7, 7 and 9 innings and allowed 2, 1 and 1 runs. His two starts under Showalter have been brilliant. He stymied the White Sox with John Danks as a 155 dog, allowing five hits and a lone walk in a 2-1 win and then pitched a complete game 2-hitter in Cleveland to win 3-1.
The fact that the Orioles have now lost two straight has this line very reasonable, but Baltimore has nothing to be ashamed of in their three-game set vs the Rays. We look for them to get right back to their winning ways in this home series opener vs a very weak team. Baltimore is a perfect 5-0 their last five series openers and they were the dog in four of them.
In addition, Baltimore is a perfect 6-0 with Bergesen in franchise history at home when he is off a quality start on the road, and he is six-for-six quality starts. In fact, in these six games the Orioles NEVER trailed at the end of ANY inning. The SDQL text is:

Doug Fister had an excellent outing in his last start, going six innings and allowing a lone run at home vs the A’s. The Mariners hung on to win 3-1 as a 115 favorite. This has been a bad spot for Mr Fister, as the Mariners are 0-5 with him when they won his last start. Recently, he has been especially bad off a team win, as he allowed five runs in each of his last three starts.
The Mariners here hammered 9-1 yesterday in Cleveland. Seattle has a very, very tough time recovering from these types of defeats – especially on the road. The M’s are 0-19 as a away dog to an AL opponent when they are off a five-plus run loss, getting beat by an AVERAGE of 4.2 runs per game. The SDQL text is:
