"Triple Crown" baseball selections 5/14/11 In today's St. Louis-Cincy baseball game, I have made three selections, including St. Louis +118; St Louis-Cincy OVER 8.5 at -119; and St. Louis team total OVER 4 at -108.
Feel like a lot of good information supports these selections.
Regarding the side, St. Louis is 11-4 off a loss this season and has had great success against Johnny Cueto (3-3, 6.44 ERA lifetime against the Cards) in the past.
Ryan Theriot (11-for-28 lifetime vs. Cueto) is expected back in the lineup today for the Redbirds.
The sixsome of Theriot, Rasmus, Pujols, Molina, Holliday and Berkman are a combined 36-for-99 (.364 BA) lifetime versus Cueto.
Also this season, St. Louis is 15-4 to the OVER on the road, while Cincy is 13-6 to the OVER this season at home.
There is a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms in the Queen City today, so weather could wash this one out or cause delays/etc.
