Regular Season Wins

Regular Season Wins Just curious if was just me or it was a tough year for everyone. I got annihilated on RSW in baseball and virtually all of my info came from here. Not sure if it was an anomaly for me or was across the board.

No anomaly

I ended up losing juice. I do remember the board jumping coming up with Royals under somehow as a play and it was one of my losers. This play got off to a bad start as the Royals did well at the beginning. Their pitching helped us in the middle but not surprised they played better the last 45 games. I did think a well deserved loser this one. I had a post on the Rays and Jays being closer in RSW than their numbers. This turned out to be incorrect as their difference was right except I won on the Jays over and I felt my post said they might be better than their RSW number. They were only at 76 and came up with 81. Of course if someone took my post at the time to play the Rays under, well, you got beat. I think they were 84 or 85 and obviously with their late run they went over but myself I didn't lose on that one. No doubt the Rays surprised even before the playoff run as to how good they were. I had Detroit over but I had Florida under somehow. Not sure how I came up with either of these. And I pushed on the Mets where I went under. I don't remember it from the board or not. I also recall I had a post where the Angels would be better than the A's. And somehow I never converted my own post into an actual bet on the A's under which is unfortunate since it was an easy winner. I'd be interested in what the board came up with in particular Fez if someone knew. Maybe I missed them. I want to say he might have said go Reds under which won I'm sure. Bet against the crappy midwestern city off a good year. I vaguely remember that. I didn't bet it but it sounded good.

That would be Milwaukee next year, although if they lose key players to free agency then it won't be lined as high. Giants were 86, and I thought that was an easy over. Ended up being exactly right.

I was heavy on SF Over also but the number I got was 88 and the posts on here discussing the bet had Ov 87.5.

I didn't play it. It's just bad memory (and some variant of confirmation bias methinks) that I thought it was 86.
