Rudy NYC Sports Play of the Day -5/19/2010 (55-34 +42.99 units) Yesterday's parlay crashed and burned - back to straight plays: 902 Wednesday, 5/19/2010 Washington Nationals ( -132) 2 units 7:05pm EST @ Washington Nationals The Nationals return home after a 3-6 nine game road trip. But if one takes the time and look at those nine games one will see that every loss was competitive. The Nats are one of those teams that play even better at home (11-8) and the Mets do not play well at all at Nationals Park having gone 3-6 there in 2009. The Mets are an awful away team (5-13) and will have a very difficult time tonight with David Wright slated for rest and Rod Barajas doubtful with a stomach bug. Livan Hernandez (4-2, 1.46 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, .200 BAA) continues to defy. RA Dickey, well we have nothing positive to say about a career journeyman pitcher with career stats of 22-28, 5.43 ERA, 1.57 WHIP, and .293 BAA. This looks like a great “spot” for the Nats to end their 5 game losing streak. GL RUDY
