Brief write-up: nothing bad to say about Carlos Silva’s season, in fact, the Cubs are 8-1 (more than a third of their wins) this season when he has taken the hill. The Cubs are hitting .278 at home as opposed to .247 on the road. Wrigley Field is a tough venue for all visitors but it has to be especially tough on a rookie pitcher, Adam Ottavino, trying to break his maiden today. This is not a great spot for Cards in between Carpenter and Wainwright.
