i am a follower and no disrespect at all, but did you consider the 5pm local start time and effect of shadows on the offense. good luck.
An interesting point is that Brian Wilson had to come in at the last minute because someone (when they all wear 42 it is hard to tell who is who) else couldn't close the game out. He may still be available tonight, but he may be less effective/less likely to come in in the 8th.

That said, you got me thinking and I actually called my ex-partner who resides in Phoenix. His response was that the shadows at Chase can work either way. He further stated that he believes with two OVER pitchers, it can only help and if we had two UNDER pitchers, conversely it would help the UNDER. Bottom line, not a factor as shadows tend to last for a shorter period this time of year as the sun is not as high in the sky. btw - are you really a doctor? were are you in NY? GL, Rudy

I was not on it and did not record it to view this morning, but what I saw on TV highlight shows and in the boxscore, I can understand your grief. Add it to your list of "games you will never forget"! As for your Brian Wilson comment, I do not believe this one, the OVER, will come to Wilson time whether it is the 8th or 9th inning. What I wanted to respond to was your reference to the #42 fiasco. Whether it is Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente or Hank Greenberg, MLB has to cut that out. Could you imagine the confusion if they did similar in the NFL or the NBA? I recognize over 75% of the players in the majors, but I have to admit, I get confused especially when I have two games going, one with no sound. Just my three cents. Rudy
