Not buying the hype on the rookie starter Danny Duffy for the Royals. There is some talk out there that the kid is not quite ready as he was called up in advance of the Royal’s original plans out of desperation. Besides Royals have been flat at the plate and Ogando remains impressive. How quickly the baseball world has forgotten Ogando’s numbers: 4-0, 2.06 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and .185 BAA. He also has a win already against the Royals.
Look for the Rangers to tee off on Duffy, if not the first time around, certainly the second.
