Rudy's 2012 MLB Rants What did we learn yesterday and Wednesday night?
- Marlins Field is a canyon with absurd dimensions with fences too high. Give them a year or two before they go the Citifield route and make adjustments.
- Indians will find ways to lose and Blue Jays will find ways to win this season
- Do not underestimate the Mets while they are healthy
- The Nats will give the Phils fits this year provided THEY stay healthy
- Everyone forgot that the Reds do well against southpaws, Cueto will have a big year
- Marlins lack brains, hence are overrated
- Dodgers Achilles heel will once again be middle relief
- Volquez as Opening Day starter for Pods tells us a lot
A few thoughts on today's (4/6) games:
- Have a feeling Lincecum will struggle out of the gate (Big Giants fan here)
- Saw Wandy pitch in Florida and something is not right. He is typically a slow starter anyway.
- Also, the current batters for the Rockies have hit .360 against Rodriguez
- Pavano had a horrendous spring, Arrieta not much better.
- The current batters for the Angels have hit .385 against Chen
A few I am on today:
953 Giants/D'backs OVER 7 -105
955 Rockies -117
960 Twins/O's OVER 9 -105

Rudy
