RUDY's MLB 4/19 - 4/25

Rudy - Thanks for continuing to post.
Wednesday 4/11 Plays: 1-0 +2.0 (yesterday) 40-18 +48.34 units (2010 MLB season to date) -------------------------- 924 Wednesday, 4/21/2010 Chicago White Sox (-107) 2 units 8:10pm EST @ Chicago White Sox Rays are having their troubles hitting southpaws, Buehrle 8-2, 1.21 WHIP lifetime versus Rays. Wade Davis may be the real deal, time will tell, but this will be a tough task against a different looking White Sox team last night as they started their home stand. (Also, consider the UNDER) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 905 Wednesday, 4/21/2010 Pittsburgh Pirates/Milwaukee Brewers Under 8.5 2 units 7:05pm EST @ Pittsburgh Pirates Z Duke (2-0, 2.37 ERA, 1.21 WHIP), as previously mentioned, is out to prove that he is his old self this season. It was certainly apparent in his first three starts. Gallardo, who has pitched well against the Pirates in the past, looked much improved in his last start and we expect that trend to continue today. It will be a game of small ball tonight in Pittsburgh under the lights. GL, RUDY
Thursday 4/22 Matinee Play 1-1 -0.14 units (yesterday) 41-19 +48.20 units (2010 MLB season to date) ---------------------------------------------------- Matinee Play: 951 Thursday, 4/22/2010 Milwaukee Brewers (-1.5 +105) 2 units 12:35am EST @ Pittsburgh Randy Wolf is 7-1, 3.39 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and .201 BAA versus Pitt lifetime. This year he is pitching well enough (4.91 ERA and 1.363 WHIP) to best McCutchen (14.73 ERA and 2.183 WHIP) and the Pirates. Brewers’ bats finally look alive and Pirates are struggling against southpaws. Be back later with at least one night play. NOTE: passing on Thursday night MLB; nothing worthwhile. GL, RUDY

Rudy NYC Sports MLB Plays 4/23/2010 1-0 +2.00 units (yesterday) 42-19 +50.20 units (2010 MLB Season to date) ---------------------------------------------------- Tonight: 904 Friday, 4/23/2010 Atlanta Braves ( -127) 3 units 7:10pm EST @ New York Mets Very simple: Braves like to beat up on the Mets (13-3 last 16) and as we have often said, Maine is an unreliable 5/6 inning pitcher. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 929 Friday, 4/23/2010 New York Yankees ( -127) 3 units 10:05pm EST @ LAA Angels Although Erwin “Magic” Santana pitched exceptionally well last out, Burnett has been sharp throughout. There is something wrong with this Angels' team. We said it before, they are not your old Angels. You think Vlad in the middle of that lineup would be the answer? He sure looks good so far this year. Yankees coming off a loss to a tough pitcher, we’ll back the stronger lineup. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 913 Friday, 4/23/2010 Philadelphia Phillies (RL -1.5 -104) 2 units 9:40pm EST @ Arizona D-Backs Phils feast on D’Backs (9 wins of last 13), have the superior lineup and superior pitcher. Relief still remains a problem for D’Backs (7.08 ERA and 1.65 WHIP). D’backs are having difficulty against southpaws and Hamels has performed great against them (2-0, 1.74 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 2.31 BAA). Lay the runs, this one may be a 20-0 Philly final! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- GL RUDY
