RUDY's MLB 4/30 -5/2 (new thread) 45-28 +33.38 units (2010 MLB Season) -------------------------------------------- Friday's Plays: 979 Friday, 4/30/2010 Texas Rangers (+142) 3 units 10:10pm EST @ Seattle Mariners Blah, blah, blah – Cliff Lee is making his season debut. Game’s over, Mariners win…well that is what the books and the public are telling us. But NOT SO FAST! The world knows he rushed his comeback, he will be on a pitch count, the Rangers know it, are the Rangers skilled enough to take Cliff deep into the count knowing this? We think so. Before we dismiss Mr. Lee lest we forget that he has pitched his worst against the Rangers (7.09 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, .311 BAA). The Rangers, who get Ian Kinsler back tonight, throw Colby Lewis (3-0, 3.80 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, .227 BAA) who has been a consistent and reliable starter this season. Rangers hit, Mariners do not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 978 Friday, 4/30/2010 Tampa Bay Rays (RL -1.5 -115) 2 units 7:10pm EST @ Tampa Bay Rays We are going to ride with the Rays at home until a superior pitcher shows up. You can fill in the rest. Oh, do not forget: Jeff Niemann’s stats – 1-0, T3-1, 3.27 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and .220 BAA and the Rays are averaging 8 runs a game their last ten while the Royals are averaging 3.3 runs their last ten. We’ll lay the 1.5 at home on this one. Back at 'ya tomorrow! GL RUDY
Looks like you split out yesterday Rudy. Now 103-86 at the monitor. Good luck with your picks today. I see you have 6 again today.
We will suggest a straight play (or reverse)on each of the RL plays and a small straight play on the dog Pirates. We will also suggest a rd robin reverse with the Yanks say -225, Phils -190 and the Pirates +180.

Agree on the parlays as bad investments.
This is what I do not get. Earlier in the previous thread you said that you suggest reverses and round robin parlays. Later in the same thread you say that you agree parlays are bad investments. Why would you suggest bad investments to your followers?
A Suggestion To The Board Why don't we quit asking Rudy all these questions about his record and how he tells his clients how to bet and just leave the man alone before he gets pissed off at us and stops posting his plays. Personally, I have made a ton of money following Rudy and appreciate VERY much him taking to time to share his stuff with us. Let's not kill the golden goose! lol Thanks!

Agree. Rudy has a business and that's allowed. I think it's been made apparent that he has a couple of detractors and that's also allowed. But he has also stepped up and demonstrated with outstanding results to date. It's OK to ask questions and he can answer them (or not) as he chooses and can devote the time to do so. But I think we've had enough of the probing here. If you're interested in his services, but want to know more, do that in PMs or by other methods.

His plays here have been pretty good to date and although I have not bet them, I know some have and that is what this forum is all about.
Anthony - Thank you MobileBandit - Thanks for the kind words Doc - as far as I am concerned, your query was asked and answered. However, I would like to remind you that I used the word "small" in front of "parlays". If you want a better understanding you'll have to subscribe to my service (sorry Anthony, you know I make it a point not to advertise or solicit). Otherwise, this subject has been beaten to death. BigPappa - I really do not mind you posting my site record but as Anthony said, not in these words, it's really not necessary as anyone who cares can visit my site or one of my two monitoring services sites. I run two other unrelated businesses in addition to my latest venture in handicapping. Unless on a business call I am usually in front of my computer on weekdays. I would prefer to talk baseball than talk about the business side. JoelShitShow and a few others, have entered my threads and talk baseball. I enjoy that. I hope to see more of that and less of the third degree. Now, let's move on and make some money! GL to all this weekend, RUDY
Rudy--as always--thanks for posting--I notice again today you have a home team -1.5 (TB) and have posted a few of them here. Over the years haven't home teams on the -1.5 run line proven to be a fairly high -EV proposition? Thanks for the help.

Earlier this season, as you know, I was playing more home team RL plays as I noticed they were coming in. I since lessened those plays, although they might be trending back, but I am all over the Rays RL tonight as they are playing like freaks. This is a case of two teams moving in opposite directions. The Royals looked like an improved team early on but it appears they have shot their load. When you talk +EV or -EV in baseball, you are entering dangerous territory. Baseball is not like foots or baskets. I try to think outside the box and get creative in my plays (and how I play them). I will not hesitate to lay the RL at home if I believe there is a large disparity in talent and an apparent mismatch. RUDY (btw - I will likely play, not necessarily post, the Rays -1.5 tomorrow as the starters are Davies and Price - Sunday we have Greinke so it will not be a RL play)
I never play -1 1/2 runlines but I would have to agree Rudy. The Tampa Team is scoring a lot.
