One of my favorite angles is playing an under, especially if it is at 9 or higher, with a pitcher just called up from the minors after he's lit it up in the pony league. We've got both, and the other pitcher just might be beginning to come around, to boot.
Clayton Mortensen is making his season debut after tearing up the Pacific coast league with an ERA at 3.58 and 10 wins.
Jake Westbrook had a good start last time out only giving up 1 run in 6 innings. A bad side here: Jake had allowed 4 or more runs in 5 of his last 7 starts.He was hit hard his only start this year against the A's and I look for pitchers to bounce back on their next start against the same team.
Shin-S00 Choo may be out of the lineup. He hurt his hand last night and will be re-evaluated today. He leads Cleveland with 43 rbi's and 13 dingers. If he's out, this helps.
The A's bullpen is better than the Indians and I won't be suprised to see a 5-2 game but I'll take any result that gives me a winner.
