Worst of the year by far was last week in NYY @ Cle game.
Total was 9.
2-1 NYY top 7 in a complete pitchers duel.
2 outs 0 on in top 7th and going into the bottom of the 7th it was 9-1 NYY.
Yep you read it right. How does that happen?
How do MLB teams (pitchers) give up 7 earned runs with 2 outs and nobody on in an inning when any out at any point and the inning is done?
Amazing
That was a bad one but not the "worst of the year". Milwaukee at LAD, Under 9.5 Top of the 9th LAD up 3-1. 2 outs no one on base Broxton proceeds to give up 2 runs with Prince Fielder scoring the tying run from 2nd on an infield hit Then in the bottom of the 9th with 2 out and a runner on third Mil intentionally walks a man, then unintentionally walks a man to load the bases, and of course Either hits a grand slam to make the total runs scored 10 and send it over the 9.5. These details might not be exact (might have been 1 or no outs in the bottom of the 9th) But you get the idea
