Two Baseball bets, just 1 units each

Two Baseball bets, just 1 units each 914 SD -145 903 Mil +1.5 +105 I don't handicap baseball. I spotted a great situation and though I would be 4 weighting SD. Colorado had to play 3 in the Bay Area M-W, then had to wheel back home, got 20 hits and managed to lose, pretty much eliminating them from any pennant race with this loss, and now have to go to Sea Level vs. a rested Padre team. The situation is off the charts good, BUT 1) SD has lost 7 in a row 2) I played SD -125 last night. With these factors, let's still play the great spot, just lightly. Similarly bad spot for Philly, but they are in a home momentum situation which might make them ok.......and are a huge favorite. STill, I cannot believe a team can be -240 given the bad travel situation except in bizarre circumstances.
I likely will scalp back some Philly -1.5 +102 at post REally like the SD bet. Milw bet not as good......
Thanks Fezzik I would have never bet that on my own
Thanks Fezzik I would have never bet that on my own
same never bet baseball but i laid 1/2 unit on both games

And to think I was concerned when the Phillies, already ahead 1-0, loaded the bases with no outs and a 3-1 count on Ibanez. A K and a DP later, no more runs and no worries.
I hate baseball...... Cook walked the bases loaded with one out in the sixth but the Padres scored only one run, thanks to some great defense. Giambi, the first baseman, robbed Chase Headley(notes) of what could have been a two-run single when he dove to his right for the ball, got up and ran a few steps and dove headfirst to tag the bag with his glove for the second out as David Eckstein(notes) scored. Will Venable(notes) then popped up to end the inning. “That was awesome,” Cook said of Giambi’s play. “I kind of stumbled coming off the mound so I wasn’t going to get to first. He dove for it so I was just hoping he could get to his feet. That was a huge play to keep the inning where it was and we were able to get back out of it. Pretty much, it was a game-saver.”
