First road game for the Cardinal. Probably one of the best things for this Stanford team was to have the extra time off after their big victory over USC. I anticipate this team will come in prepared for a tough game. Washington has really not been impressive at all so far and their offensive line continues to be an issue with three starters already hurt since the start of the year and out for this game. We saw what Stanford's D line and LB crew did to a USC team with a reserve center and Washington was clearly outmatched against the LSU Defensive line; I know Stanford is not LSU but this defensive front seven have been very good thus far. Additionally Washington has had little success running the ball or stopping the run. Conversely I expect we see a large dose of power run football from this Stanford team along with the defense getting after the QB. Washington has not won this matchup since 2007, nor has this game been withing seven points since 2008. After seeing what Stanford did to USC I do believe they are the second best team in the Pac 12. I am going to go with the better team giving less than a full TD, albeit on the road.
