Even though it is in LA and USC was in the bigger spotlight this last weekend, Stanford has covered every game I think and it has become sharp and squares favorite play. Maybe it comes out -10.5 gets bet down then back up.

yes. i think you're right about the 10.5. just enough to hold back the avalanche on Stanford. in reality, the difference in this game will be at least 17.

Does anyone have an opinion on tomorrow's Fl St/BosColl game? I'm thinkin of takin the OV 44 when I land in Sweet Sin City! Yahoooooo!

I think only one of Boston College games have gone OVER this year. This team really tries to slow the game down. Also it seems that Florida St is getting healthier every week, Boston College dealing with more injuries over the last two weeks. This Florida St defense looks like what many thought they would be since their loss to WF. I know that Florida St has played some weaker teams recently, but I would consider BC a weak team as well. Offensively they are just horrible. Last game they beat a Maryland team that loves to give up points and yards and scored a massive 28 points, the most points all year against a FBS school. BC's RB had 39 carries for 243 yards and the BC QB was 5/12 for 32 yards. I just do not see that working at all against this Florida St team that is good against the run. BC averaging only 1.9 offensive TD per game. BC averages 66.9 plays per game and Florida St 67.1, usually that is not a good indicator for a game to go OVER. For what its worth if I was to place a bet on this game I would take Florida St -14.5. I know that can be such a bad number to lay, especially for a road team on a Thursday night but I feel these two teams are going in different directions and their will be a huge gap in talent. BC's QB is so bad; 51% completion percentage. Florida St should be able to contain the run and get some easy scores, once they are up by enough they will run the ball and force BC to try and beat them with the passing game. Of course having said that this one probably ends 52-45 Boston College winning.

I'm on the over which means it will lose, but FSU has been putting up the points. If BC can score 14 this one goes over.
