Putting up the totals early is -EV for the books, 98% of the customers could care less cause they don't bet them till game day. The players that do care are usually the ones the books don't want playing them early getting 3-4 points to the better. If you were in their shoes I doubt you'd do it differently. If books could put up the lines early close their eyes and collect 2% on added game totals... places would have had them up a week ago.
