Chip Kelly is a miniature Bob Stoops What a jackass....trying to run it up and cover. James breaks his arm.....
Worked out beautifully for the Under.....
Hows that running it up? His offense spent the whole first half sputtering and only scored on schematic mistakes the Cal players created by their lack of focus. Finally gets in a grove in the 3rd quarter and wants to finish the quarter strong. How much football have you ever watch? 21 point leads aren't safe in the NFL now and they sure haven't been safe in college football for a long time. James broke his arm because he pussed out on the play before trying to avoid contact on the sideline and stepped out. If he would have just taken the contact he would have fallen forward into the endzone. Ur prolly pissed Cal didn't cover. Blame Tedfords dumbass. He has the perfect zone read type RB and QB and does he have that in the offense? No. His defense got enough stops. Problem was he didn't shorten the game by running the ball behind a much bigger Oline. The amount of stops Pendergast D made the first half should have been enough to spread out over the course of a game. Cal had more size and better athletes and yet again were outcoached. After the last TD (at 14:30 mark) they ran 9 offensive plays. 8 were run, 1 pass on 3rd and 11. Not only did they run zone on all those runs, Kelly didn't even allow Thomas to read the play, straight zone gives. Hardly running up the score. Could have at least let Thomas make the read on the backside end and prolly break off a 12 play drive and run out the clock from the 6 minute mark. But ye i think he is comparative to Stoops the way they manipulate the BCS system to elevate their programs
