Fezzik CFB BOWL BETS THREAD
Got it. So with Pinnacle's $500 limit does that mean Fezzik's unit bet is $50?
No, the amount per "unit" you need to bet is dependent upon how much money you have set aside (bankroll) that if you lost all of it, it wouldn't affect your lifestyle and you could still make your mortgage payment. In other words, what amount do you have set aside that you'd still be just fine financially if you lost it? $1,000 $5,000? $10,000. Bet 1% on each unit of that amount. Your unit might be $10, $50, or $100. Take that amount times 10 and bet it.
And if a limit bet is less than you want to bet, get more outs. Otherwise, remember your exposure is relatively limited. That way, when it is time to come back the other way, you don't bet too much. (In this example, perhaps the +EV of over 57 is greater than the +EV of under 63. Therefore, you want more exposure to the over bet.) A lot of this line movement could be from us. If so, it may come back a little in the next day or two. Time will tell, and if it goes back to 59, don't sweat it. There's plenty of time for others to cut in line and bet over 61.
Got it, thanks guys.
Obviously, I could have called a friend in Vancouver or Paris to bet OVER 57-112 but chose not to, since the bet would kill the marketplace. I gobbled this one up quietly OVER 57 and some OV 57.5 in Vegas......If a book put this up in Vegas, I bet it here......
Don't worry ... TOL will go for two on the 6th TD and miss!
Truly unbelievable that the missed 2 pt conversion actually cost us the tie. Wow!! At least they tried it.
