[QUOTE=Chicago909;47156]I could use some help here...
Hawaii has gone from -7 to -5 tonight.
I really like the road dog in this spot. I think they are much better overall. They've improved significantly off the UNLV debacle, are coming of a bye week, SJSt is on a short week after a tough night game vs BYU. What am I missing?
I've got Hawaii -12.5 in a Reverse teaser that has me set up to win 15/1 if this covers, and Hawaii -5.5 at 6/1 after pairing them with the San Diego State money line last night. Second question is...any way to hedge out of the -12.5 spot?
Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I am guessing you meant to say road favorite since HI is favored. I am not really sure about hedging out of the -12.5 position, but I would look more closely at judging San Jose St over the last 3 games since Falkner has been the exclusive QB. The offense really has been more efficient. Also I thought San Jose St did play tough against BYU despite being down early and having some turnovers. They also could not run the ball because do not forget they were missing probably their best offensive option, Rutley at the RB position. He should be back tonight. Factor that in with the teams Hawaii has faced where opponents did try and run the ball against them, Hawaii has not really been able to stop the run very effectively when they need to (Washington and UNLV). One other thing to look at would be the offensive line for Hawaii, I know they were banged up at some positions. Not sure if guys are back for tonight or not.
The line move could be more to do with the "sharps" grabbing a number and try and figure out what to do with it later. I have not really watched Hawaii this year, but did pay close attention to San Jose St against UCLA and also when they played BYU. The one thing I thought is that it appeared that San Jose St was getting better, despite not having their RB against BYU. Not sure how many National Stand alone TV games San Jose St gets at home, but it cant be many. These players will be pumped and ready. The coach for San Jose St seems to have them heading in a positive direction in only his second year. For me I would be looking to the home dog in this national TV games where it is the only game on the board. Hawaii surely will get the public money I would think. I would have liked to get a better number than 5.5, and if it does not move more towards the favorite that would only reinforce my belief that SJ St is the right side. Not sure if any of this helps you, but just wanted to share my thoughts. Good luck to you, hopefully you do get your reverse teaser.
