Kelly is clock management bozo

Kelly is clock management bozo End of 1st half in ND game. Runs ball on 3rd and 10 and gets 8 yards. Calls Time Out IMMEDIATELY with 24 seconds left and then tries FG. You dont think you might want to let the clock run down and kick it on the last play???? Kid missed and so it didnt matter as Pitt took knee but if he makes and you get a big return. Unreal how bad these guys are!!!
correct. Kid has missed 2 FGs in his life. 39 yarder...uh NO. Brutal
ND worse than ariz state or oakland raiders, just stupid
They were talking over whether or not to go for it on 4th down, thus the reason for the TO.

I understand how this happens, especially with a coach who is running his offense. He's worried about the play call, the personnel, the adjustments, and more than ever before he calls the play while his team is looking over to him from the line of scrimmage after he's analyzed the defense. We're not thinking about any of that when we're watching on TV. We can just focus on clock strategy. What I don't understand, is why they don't address the problem. How don't you have a guy standing next to him or in his ear from the coach's box whose sole job is to focus on clock/game management issues, without any concern of getting personnel on the field, playcalling, etc. ? When Herm Edwards was coaching the Jets he had a bunch of clock management problems and was big enough to say "hey, it's a problem" and assign someone to the role. Coaches, especially these college dudes whose sideline is going to be disorganized due to youth, limited practice time, etc., need to address the issue.

Was being WAY too hard on the coach at the moment but then again at the end of the day it is HIS responsibility and he should step up to the plate as Herm did but I doubt many of these guys ego would allow them to admit that they cant HANDLE something.
