ODDS by GOLDEN NUGGET SPORTS BOOK ========================== NOV. 1: Kenny White -140/Ron Boyles +120 NOV. 8: Steve Fezzik -140/Frank Betti +120 NOV. 15: Scott Pritchard -110/Scott Kellen -110 NOV. 22: Richie Baccellieri -220/Paul Stone +190 ODDS TO WIN IT ALL: ============= Richie Baccellieri 3/1 Steve Fezzik 4/1 Kenny White 9/2 Ron Boyles 7/1 Frank Betti 7/1 Scott Pritchard 10/1 Scott Kellen 10/1 Paul Stone 15/1 No wonder I like betting vs these guys so much. A chimp would not be a +190 dog to anyone in the field yet they made Rich Baccellieri -220 vs Paul Stone +190. I know it's for entertainment purposes only but I'd make Paul a pick-em. I'd also make everyone else in the contest a pick-em and let you lay -110 on anyone. And Richie a scant +300 to win the event? Fezzik +400? Need to check their Super Bowl future odds.
The GN should take these down immediately!!! This is ruining all the good publicity this contest has brought them to date. I may be downtown today, if so, will stop in and do a little jab punching with them. -FH- ps- downtown quite lucrative at the moment at a variety of venues.

It's Frank vs. Fezzik today. Good vs. evil? Nah, but compelling for sure. I like our guy in this one.
Friday, Nov. 8 2) Steve Fezzik 1) Tulane-Texas-San Antonio under 51 2) Hawaii +17 3) Nebraska-Michigan over 57.5 4) Nevada-Colorado State over 65 5) San Diego St-San Jose St over 56 6) Wyoming +10 Best Bet) Chargers +7.5 7) Frank Betti 1) Packers -1.5 2) Virginia Tech +6.5 3) Buccaneers +2.5 4) Western Kentucky -5.5 5) Wyoming +10 6) Missouri -14 Best Bet) Titans -12 For the record, the only play I bet for real money as a straight bet and at the number listed was Wyoming +10. Also took Tenn -12.5 on the LVH lookahead 10 days ago. Everything else has been bet in a different way or at a better number. Teased TBay and GBay. Fezzik also bet Wyoming +10. I know this because we both bet it at the Nugget. He also used two of Charlies totals and a Dr Bob side (Hawaii). San Diego +7.5 is a contest play that I almost used because I knew he would use it. The juice was -120 so it's a good contest play but not sure he bet it as you can actually do as good as, or better, at a couple spots using the buy 1/2 pt option.
It's Frank vs. Fezzik today
May the best hoodlum win.
What happens here, it appears both finish 3-4 if Frank wins with TB, both losing their best bets, who advances?
What happens here, it appears both finish 3-4 if Frank wins with TB, both losing their best bets, who advances?
If TB covers, Frank advances by winning his next to last bet (Missouri - 14) where Fezzik lost his next to last bet (Wyoming +10).
Winner. Not what could be termed a glorious victory. But winner. Congrats.
