2011 MRB list posted

Nice addition of Sonoma steakhouse at Sunset. I just wish they would allow you to use your Station points to pay the rest of the bill. Also glad to see the room offers pulled. The book is very solid this year. Good job.
I have to laugh about how quiet the boards are on the A+ excellant book that Anthony has put out this year. This thread would be 200 messages long if people were unhappy with the book. My hats off to the LVA team this year for a job WELL DONE.

I will be in Vegas on a solo trip in Feb and looking forward to the deals....
I have to disagree. I'm not really happy with the book, but it doesn't matter because I rarely use the coupons anyway. And what's the sense of complaining about it? The major damage to the book was done last year. This years list of coupons is no surprise for most here.

But... just for your entertainment I'll post a couple of my gripes about it! lol

I WAS hoping to use the Sterling brunch coupon in 2011, but sadly, it's gone.

Although the Stations casinos buffet coupons are now good 7 days a week, they are now only good with a CASH PAYING GUEST, so that will stop them from being any value to me -- I only use comps in Vegas.

I'm sure there are other things that are disappointing about the book this year, but that's all I can come up with off the top of my head. But like I said, it doesn't matter. The book IS what it is and we will all make do or not renew.

Anthony... Please give me 40 free buffets...$500 in free slot play..10 free Suite nights...Free limo ride for a week... and a matchplay for $50 to every casino in town for my $37.50 Thanks!

People have been spoiled in the past. It is what it is and that is something well worth over $37.50.

I wouldn't be asking for anything near that. But there were some coupons that I used in the past that I miss, like 20% off at China Spice at GVR, just to name one. And I just never got around to using the $20 off at Sterling brunch this year and was hoping to see it again in the 2011 book to give me another opportunity.

Why do people feel the need to exaggerate so much? That's a rhetorical question. Don't bother answering.
More great offers pulled together by the LVA staff .. I won't be going to Vegas in 11, but I used a ton of the coupons last week .. well worth the price of subscribing!
I'm happy.
I will not miss the M resort one bit. I have tried to go over and use the coupon 4 times this year. each time the wait was over an hour. we finally got in last Tuesday. Very disappointed. The tables were jammed together and people kept on bumping into your table. They ran out of prime rib, said a 20 minute wait, turned out to be over 30 minutes. Lots of good food was not replaced when empty. Overall I was very disappointed and would not go back even with a coupon.
I think the MRB is a great value and will be renewing again this year.
Thanks anthony.
"Is the terrible's deal once a year or just one time and you are done? "

I would like to know this too. I played it on 12/22/10 after I bought a 2010 year-end ($12) membership.
Will I be able to play it again, if I renew in 2011? If so, when? (1/1/11, 12/23/11, ... ?)

Some comments which I hope are helpful, having just used coupons from the 2010 MRB:
1. The $10 free-play coupons at Orleans and Gold Coast both require $10 coin-in. You'd think that the mechanics of using both coupons would be similar, but they're not. One requires you to play your coin-in, and then take the coupon to the club desk. But the other has to be taken to the club desk before you play your coin-in.
2. The Terrible's $100 loss-rebate offer should be played on a Bonus Point day if possible. A heads-up about that would be useful to those of us that don't play machines very much.

3. The 2011 Edgewater/Colorado Belle coupon is for $10 in free play with ** $1000 ** coin-in? When the other free-play coupons are for only $10 coin-in, or no coin-in at all? Boo.

I'm curious what compelled LVA to handle room offers differently this year.

It's not readily apparent to me why, say, coupons to shows that might close in February will be included in the MRB, but coupons for hotel rooms that'll be around for years will not be.'

Might there be concern that MRB room offers will diminish the LVA's new "Deals" program for hotel rooms?

That I'm most certainly not entitled to know the answer to this question doesn't mean I'm not curious about it.

Regardless, here's hoping we see some good room offers online in early January, it'll help my planning for Feburary's trip.

Listing the offers online make booking easier and LVA is able to get credit for these offers too. I would much rather have online hotel offers then hassle with some rude front desk clerk that doesn't have a clue.
