Overall the 2012 book is right on par with the 2011 book. Thank goodness it didn't follow the same brutal pattern as 2010 to 2011. Still an excellent value for $12! Here are the important (i.e. gambling) changes from 2011.
Gains: -$25 MP for new members at Golden Gate (at the cost of the $5 MP for all members). -$10 MP at Hard Rock appears to now be for all members instead of just new. This is a return to how it was in 2010. -$10 MP at Lucky Club appears to now be for all members instead of just new. This is a return to how it was in 2010. -$10 MP at Riviera (though we lose the better FP offer)
Loses: -$5 MP at Golden Gate (new members get a better offer though - see above) -$10 MP at Plaza -$5 FP at Plaza -$25 in FP for $50 at Riviera (replaced by MP - see above) -$25 MP at Sahara (Obviously expected, but ouch!) -$10 MP at Las Vegas Club reduced to $5 MP -$25 FP for new members at Venetian/Palazzo
For those of you who don't go to Atlantic City, I guess it's ok, but I noticed there are no Harrah's casinoes BOGO coupons for buffets.Only the Tropicana has one.
I enjoy the coupons in both books but I have used Groupons more and more lately. Most are off of the strip but I always have a car and a GPS. The $37.50 for LVA is well worth it for just the info alone. ACG has never been a favorite book of mine.. bulky and lame coupons but still worth the $12.
