4-Queens free matchplay

I didn't see this mentioned here so I thought I'd mention it...

On my last trip (December 2011) the dude who runs the free slot pull for the 4-Queens was handing out a sheet of coupons to everyone. Some of them were only for new signups to the club...but there was a matchplay coupon on there good for $10 at the tables (good for both new and exisiting slot club members). Not sure if it is ongoing.

The January LVA newsletter also mentioned that recent coupon sheets have included free ace coupons. Not sure if they're just experimenting with better coupons, rotating them in and out of circulation, or what. I'll be out later this month and will check it out.

Big question is whether you need to wait in the (often long) line at the players club to use it. I'm guessing that they would want to track the use of a throwaway coupon like that.

Yes, my recent experience is you need to present the coupon to the slot club, which is their way of restricting the offer to one per person.

Note they also have a similar setup across the street at Binions. I used Free Ace coupons at both 4-Queens and Binions.

But I do wonder what the restriction on the coupon's use is -- like whether it can be used once per person (or per account) per year or whether it is once per month (although something tells me that it is probably once per year.

But I won't be able to find this out myself until probably the last week in February when I'll hopefully go there.

We just returned from there. Yes, it is one per account. The coupon expired March 31. We found the line at the players club not to be bad during the day-longer during the evening.
