acg books car rental

How soon do you think car discounts will come out for early December? I have never rented while a large convention is in town. Budget and SWA currently state their rates are though 10-30-12.

A large convention will change rates for sure. Your best bet is to book now and hope for rates to drop so you can rebook later. This way if rates don't drop, you've still got a car booked. A sale or rate drop can pop up at any time.

I booked ALAMO for Dec 9-15 (Sun-Sat). I went through Southwest's website and used the Costco code: 7015309

With taxes a midsize came to $180 for 6 days.

I was plugging away for weeks using multiple codes and sites....this is the cheapest price I came accross. Almost everything else totalled over $200 for the same car/dates.
