Aliante not accepting buffet coupons

Hi all,
We had dinner at Aliante Casino & Hotel last night. Aliante is no longer a Stations Casino, so they are not accepting the Aliante coupons from the MRB. The gal selling admission to the buffet told us she"thought" Texas Station was accepting the Aliante buffet coupons. Does anyone know if this is true and/or if all Stations Casinos are accepting them or not?
Wow, that's terrible. Traditionally, casinos that change management like Aliante just did still honor coupons issued by prior management.

Seems to me that Aliante should appreciate the rare customers willing to drag themselves all the way out to the foot of Gass Peak.
Again with the not-so-subtle reference about how far away Aliante is Chil? You act as if 20 miles or so is halfway across the state. Aliante is a beautiful property with alot to offer. I don't know what your issue is with this particular casino but it definitely seems like you have an ax to grind.
Aliante IS far. In a metropolis with many comparable casino resorts (Suncoast, Cannery, Orleans, M) Aliante's distance is its single distinguishing characteristic. What's the first thing you should say to someone about Aliante who's already been to those other joints? That Aliante is FAR!

Yes, it's a pleasant casino, with many nice amenities, most of which I presume have continued in albeit lessened form following the bankruptcy. I hope it succeeds, because if it can be successful, every place in Vegas can be.

But let's not kid ourselves. If the new regime is so short sighted that it won't honor the buffet coupon of a tourist who made the long journey north because the coupon was issued by the previous management, that does not bode well for Aliante's future success.

Good luck Aliante, you need it.

It is hard to understand how some of the suits who run a casino got into the business in the first place. Refusing a measly buffet coupon which risks alienating a customer forever makes no sense. If I were to have this happen to me in a casino buffet line I would leave that property never to return and I am sure many of you feel the same. That type of action is just bad business and makes little sense. The Aliante is pretty nice. I go to Vegas a lot but I have only made the drive once. I would think that the Aliante is primarily a local's casino as a lot of people live in North Las Vegas. Still the tourist dollar spends probably better than the local dollar as the average local is probably more of an advantage player then the average tourist.
fingerstim- some of the"suits" you refer to were working the counter at McDonald's just a short time ago.
So does anyone know if Texas is taking them??
