Beware the Anthony Cools ACG Coupon

Was in Vegas last week and went over to Paris to use the ACG "free upgrade to VIP" coupon to Anthony Cools. The lady at the box office hadn't seen it before, and I told her just to follow the code on the back.

Well, she still couldn't figure it out, and neither could the other person working the booth. So, they called the manager, and she wasn't smart enough to figure it out either. So they said they'd have to look into it. They photcopied the coupon, said they would call me when they figured it out, and then it would be taken care of.

Guess what? No phone call...Shocker! So I dragged myself back down there for the Tuesday show (which is the only one I could attend), and of course, different people were at the box office and had no idea what I was talking about. So I didn't see the show.

I guess what I'm ticked about is that the coupon was perfectly legitimate, and they admitted as such. so why didn't they just upgrade me as per the coupon and resolve the issue at their own discretion. Why was I denied the ticket? So it's my fault the morons don't know what they're doing?

I'm just agitated by it as I have wanted to see the show for some time, but my wife doesn't. Since I was out there on my own for a few days, I thought this would be my chance...oh, well.

Now I'm probably not going to give them any money for anything else, which sucks because we love Jersey Boys...

Just typial poor customer service by the folks from Caesars, I guess.

Bushman

The first time I used the ACG, I signed the card and kept the card in my wallet. Then when I planned on using coupons, I just tore the relevant page out of the book, so I didn't have to haul the book around all day.

So I went to use the match play at the Plaza, and I tore the coupon off the page, and the dealer showed it to the pit boss, who said it was no good, because it was a photocopy. This guy had obviously never seen me before in his life, and claimed I was scamming by photocopying ACG coupons. So I was polite and let him go about his stupid-ass, ignorant, miserable life.

The right thing to do is just be glad you're not them. They're the ones who got cheated -- by living life that way.
