Big Dogs Closes Sahara Location

According to Las Vegas Weekly, perennial MRB local joint Big Dog's has closed its Sahara location. It apparently was shuttered this past weekend, joining other former locations of this once-promising chain.

The one on North Rancho remains open.

Thanks for this information. I have on and off thought about using the MRB coupon offer for there but nothing much takes me to the Strip area (I'm pretty happy Downtown). But maybe someday for a diversion, I'll finally make it out to the Strip. But now I don't know if I will necessarily go to Big Dogs if it is way away from the Strip or Downtown.

Both locations were miles off the strip. The one that remains is just south of Santa Fe.

Went to the one on Rancho a couple years ago and was largely unimpressed. VP was expectedly awful. The bar was kinda scuzzy and a glance at the food of some of the bar-sitters looked to be mediocre. I had one draft and left.

There are much better local-dive-bars to frequent IMO.
