Boyd Aloha Coupon Book

I just received an offer from the Freemont for free meals and 100 in slot play. I understand that the free meals are in the Aloha Coupon Book. Can anyone tell me what the coupons entail? What restaurants do they cover? Will I be able to use some coupons for a friend who will be dining with me? Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
If you got the $100 FP offer, you should contact a host about getting a silver or gold card. Either way if you specify two people in the room, the food offer will cover two people.
I don't know everything that's in the books, but I can give you one example. Yesterday I had lunch at the 777 at MSS. There were 4 of us. My friend had 2 of those coupon books. She gave both books to the server, who deducted the 2 least expensive meals from the bill after tearing one coupon out of each book.
In the Aloha coupon books, they have specially marked items at each restaurant. The selection is decent and there is a dinner coupon for one night that includes steak, salad, etc. For the entry level rfb these are a great deal. The reason I said to contact your host about silver or gold is because $100 FP does not equal entry level rfb. I am at $75 FP and always get a silver card. These are valid for the same restaurants but you can order anything you want. The gold card is good for the higher end restaurants.

The comments regarding FP assume you travel. If you are a local, there are different rules.

I can add what information that I know about it. For each day of stay at the hotel they give three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). So for example if you stay 2 night the total meals should be six meals (two breakfasts, two lunches, and two dinners). The coupon book specifically states that only one coupon book can be used per person although I guess that the cashier can use discretion whether more than one person can use one coupon book. Also it says that it is not good for take out orders. The value of each coupon goes something like this; breakfast $2.50, lunch $2.90, dinner $3.50, however I'm just guessing and it could be more or less. However, the coupon has a higher value if used at select restaurants. For instance (I believe) if used at the Chinese food place Lanai Express a lunch/dinner coupon covers a two-choice Chinese food plate plus it includes a beverage. Or at the Cal's Market Street café the breakfast/lunch/dinner coupon covers a special of the day (usually three specials to choose from) and includes a beverage with no extra charge. The coupons can also be used at the buffet restaurants but an additional charge will apply. It is something like $5 extra for lunch and $7 extra for dinner. All in all those coupons are great. I try to maximize the use out of those coupons whenever I can get it.
Thanks for all of the information. I'll definitely inquire about the silver/gold card.
