Cosmopolitan $100 Rebate Extended!!

I took me 3 days of playing to lose
won
$245.00
$209.00
then i lost/ got my FP and won $144.00 on it.
did the slot tourney every day
won $25.00 FP twice and $10.00 once-
these two things makes it the best advantaged play on the Strip as the slot tourney is every 30 minutes AND VERY UNDER ATTENDED.
Once there were only 4 of us. tops 7 people.
run, do not walk to this
My understanding was you had 24 hours to lose the $100 or the offer lapsed.

It is an aggregate loss so if you got up $200 you have to lose $300 that day for it to kick in...would not be real bright.

No,
it wouldn't be bright but you are mistaken.
You can win every day (as much as the sky) until you lose $100.00 then they put $100.00 of FP on your card- which is good for one year.
Your "understanding" is incorrect.
you are really complicating a simple (as simple as Terribles) good deal.

we were there wed/thurs/friday- 11-2
People walk by hand in hand- I swear no one else spoke English! Lots of Asian, French and Europeans there.
It won't last..slot tourneys are not 'right" at the Cosmo but they don't know what else to do..
Thanks N cat. Weds. works for me!!!

I guess I'm gonna have to... "Je parle Un petit francais". (thats all I remember from 9th grade french in '71)
We stopped at the Cosmo 8/14 to sign up for the player's card and partake in this promo. Hubby and I each had separate boothlings - we were both told we would receive $10 in free play and any losses up to $100 would be reimbursed - "IF - we returned the next day to receive it.
We were heading for home the next morning so it was a waste of time for us.

As always - it depends on who you talk to...there never seems to be a clear understanding by the employees of promos.
My wife and I went to Cosmo on Tuesday, August 9th. We signed up for Identity Card and were each given $10 Free Play. We made about $15 on FP slots. I went back to the booth and inquired about the $100 loss reimbursement and was told that if I lost $100 playing the machines they would put $100 back on my card. My wife started playing and was up $25, when I told her to cash out and I would give it a try. We were running a little short on time and I figured that the money she made would help offset what I might lose on the promotion. I lost $120 in minutes on WOF (put extra $20 in due to having made some money on the freeplay). I went back to the booth and they immediately put $100 on my card. I went to a lonely slot machine at the outside edge of casino and decided to run it through. Whatever was there when the $100 was played through, we would cash out and leave. Cashed out $916 ticket and left! Point is, I did both promotions within a very short time, on the same day! No problem, so I don't know why there are so many conflicting stories concerning using both promo's.
It sounds like you now have to make a choice between doing the $100 loss rebate or the Wheel spin at the front of the casino (which has up to $500 in free play) when you sign up for a card. I decided to do the spin and the person in front of me actually won $500 in free play. I just missed winning $100 but got $10. The wheel had other good prizes such as 2 free buffets to wicked spoon.

One question about the $100 rebate: If you will only be in Vegas for 3 days, when do you stop playing each day once you are ahead. Example: my friend (who typically doesn't play much slots/video poker) stopped playing each day when he was up $25. From a mathematically (Expected value) perspective at what point should you take your winnings and stop playing?
I'm heading out in October....if anyone hears that this is being extended that far, please let me know.
