An update - I appealed to Groupon via email in regard to the NOLA rain-out and the fact that we would not be able to return to NOLA in the foreseeable future. Much to my surprise Groupon refunded my $27 in the form of Groupon bucks. They did not have to do that. It is possible that they are being inundated with complaints and in order to stay ahead of the competition they are cutting customers a little slack. They are back in our good graces at least for now.
