El Cortez Cabana Suite Coupon Question

I am a little confused at the wording on the coupon (# 19). It states on the back that it is valid on the mini-suites, but according to the El Co website they only have Super Suites, Junior Suites, and Deluxe Rooms. I would assume the mini-suite is the same as the junior suite, but when I called to make reservations, I was told that I would have to pay $50 for a King size bed, which the junior suites all have (except the Handicap access rooms). My gut is telling me that this isn't right, and I should be getting the Jr suite for $45 and the second night free. Can anyone help me clarify? The guy I talked to in reservations was friendly, but he had some difficultly locating the offer.

Thanks
I used the offer last year without a problem. I asked for cabana suite as described in the coupon. It cane with a king size bed. I only paid the $45 for the first night, the second night was free. I do highly recommend these rooms, they are a bargain for the price. If you don't get satisfaction contact the LVA staff. They have been very good at resolving issues like this.
Thanks - I had a feeling something was off. I will call back this evening and see if I can speak with someone else who can give me the correct rate...
Ok, how do I contact the LVA staff?? I called the El Co back tonight and the rep that answered said that the coupon was only good for the tower room (when it says cabana suites) and that $50 is the rate for the King bed. If that is truly the case, then I certainly don't mind paying that rate, it still works out to $25 plus tax per night, but I hate to feel like the rate should be $45 and they are overcharging me... Thanks

We stayed at El Cortez last night and the night before in Room 907. The music from (I guess) a night club was quite loud until 4 a.m. If you stay at the El Cortez, I suggest trying to get an even number room in the tower, but with the volume of the "noise", I am not even sure that would help. I don't know how it would be in the Cabana Suites. I have stayed at El Co probably at least 50 times before and never had this problem. I am not sure I would stay there again. We actually left a day early and will be paying for tonight's room at the Plaza- something we rarely do in Las Vegas. Yes, I requested as far away from Fremont Street at the Plaza as possible. Just FYI.
I was quoted and am paying $50 with second night free using the ACG coupon for a Cabana junior suite. I was thinking I might use the MRB coupon later in the year so I didn't really worry about the fact that the MRB coupon should get the room for $45, figuring that $50 was the "nominal" change in price for the suite when using the ACG coupon for an upgrade from a vintage or pavillion room which would be $30 with second night free with the ACG coupon.
Thanks Lisa - I will keep that in mind. We might try to double book the last night with a comp somewhere else, just in case there is a problem. Good luck at the Plaza, I hope they have gotten all of their kinks worked out (and hopefully all the broken nail heads off the floor - that is one place I won't be staying ever again).

Jack - thanks, according to the website the regular rate for a junior suite is $49, so I'm not getting in a tizzy over it, more important things to plan for a Vegas trip
We used the LVA coupon for Cabana Suite on Feb. 3 & 4. It was the smallest room we ever stayed in. can't complain for the price but right on my receipt it says Cabana Suite. Feb. 5,6 & 7 at The Plaza. The room was great.
When last I stayed there, the room was every bit as small, as it was green. And believe me, you will never find a room anywhere that is as green as the Cabana was when I was there last year.
It looks like there is still an issue with this coupon. I just called to book two nights at the Cabana Suite in April. The coupon says 2 for 1 Mini-Suites at $45. The lady on the phone says that is only for Tower Rooms. The Cabana Suites start at $50 for LVA members (deluxe room) and $60 for the Junior (mini) suite. I never like it when one thing is advertised and something else is delivered.
