First New MROs Posted

Anthony,
Thanks for looking into the $7.50 fee. I was aware of it going in, so it wasn't a surprise to me and was part of my big budget for that night. But if you can get my price down from $15.22 down to $7.77, that'll enable me to tip the staff lavishly. Or should I try for a Gold Spike suite upgrade?

Thanks again,
Mrxcitement
Re: Chilcoot- "We know we are being lied to. That knowledge protects us". Duh? And just how does that protect us?
Chilcoot you are weak (I hope Justmare does not read this and accuse me of being rude). I will never pay a resort fee. I will never stay at a casino that charges a resort fee. I will limit my stays to a Caesars Entertainment property that will comp my room (I just spent five days at PH comped), South Point (the best locals casino), one of the Cannerys or any property with a resort fee that will comp my room and waive the fee. We can win this resort fee battle if we take this attitude. We will lose if we take your attitude Chilcoot. You call it a charade which it is but then you buckle under and say that we should anticipate and adjust which in my mind means stay and pay. I say NO WAY!
LOL, fingerstim! I have to agree with you. We all need the backbone to stand up to the casino hotels and tell them we WON'T pay resort fees. These are services that not everyone uses, so it's simply extortion.

Oh grow up.

Resort fees are here to stay for the foreseeable future. I take the backseat to no one in disliking them. But they're really not that big a deal, and they're super easy to research and account for.

Let me let you in on a little secret. Vegas is nothing but a facade. They sell you one thing, you purchase something else. Don't we all realize this by now?

LVA readers should be bright enough to make use of the information available to them and not be shocked Shocked SHOCKED by a resort fee. This constant WHINING about resort fees is beyond childish.
thanks for reaffirming my belief this is a free country (no pun intended about fee/no fee). It's been a couple of years since I posted my feelings on free speech and press, so humor me a minute. It so happens I treat some americans who have gone to quite a bit of trouble to insure your freedom to do what happens in these posts, and I hope you'll take some of the time and energy you're using on this to find a fellow citizen and THANK them for your freedom. Good Luck!
Chilcoot- you make the 98 pound weakling look like Charles Atlas.

It's a slow process obtaining sign-off on new MROs, since many of our partners are unfamiliar with the new program, but the first new offers have been posted, including 2-for-1 room offers at Golden Gate and El Cortez Cabana Suites, plus the $7.77 room offer at the newly remodeled Gold Spike. There's also an additional offer for Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show at the Riviera, and 10% off all rentals/packages at Exotic Car Rental. This is just the beginning of the MRO program for 2011, with plenty more offers in the works pending final approval.

Any chance you could throw a dog a bone?

Well we are halfway through the year and once again LVA fails to deliver on the MRO's. I don't see why this is such a hard task to do.. Groupon is kicking butt in Las Vegas.

Jessica or someone from LVA could you please update. What's the deal with the MRO's?

other than the $100 Terribles offer MRO has been pretty much worthless.
